Biblical Positive Affirmations for Women That Will Empower You

Positive Biblical Affirmations That Will Empower Women

Biblical positive affirmations are so important because our minds are constantly under attack.  The enemy of our souls continually tells us that we aren’t good enough, strong enough, or capable enough, and these types of messages have the power to prevent us from being all that God created us to be.

Learning to speak positive affirmations over your life will help you to change your mindset by combating the negative thought processes that are attacking your mind.  When you do this you are better positioning yourself to reach your potential, accomplish more, and experience peace and true happiness.

What Are Positive Affirmations?

Positive affirmations are positive statements that you speak to yourself to help you overcome negative self-sabotaging thought processes. They are designed to help you develop a positive mental attitude.  In addition to developing a positive mental attitude, positive affirmations are supposed to help you transform into the person you desire to become by simply speaking it into existence (more on this later). At the end of this post you will find a free download of powerful affirmations you can speak over your life daily.

Are Positive Affirmations Biblical?

biblical affirmations encouragement

We live in a time where positive affirmations, manifestation, the law of attraction, and other self-help and development practices are at an all time high.  Yet, many of these practices are not in alignment with the the word of God.

In our efforts to become our best selves we must remember that any practice that attempts to put us in the place of God, is not of God and should be avoided.  For instance,  I do not have the power to declare that I will make a certain amount of money by a certain date.  It might make me feel good to make that type of declaration but the fact is God is the only being in the Universe who has the power to speak something into existence.

Don’t get me wrong, our words do have power and when we focus on certain things, and put in the effort, the likelihood of us achieving that thing is extremely high.  Yet before we make any declaration we must make sure that we are relying upon the true source of power.  For it is through God, and God alone that we obtain the power to achieve.

So no, it is not a sin to use affirmations.  However, it is a sin a to place ourselves in the position of God.  Which is why we must make sure that any positive affirmation we declare over our lives is in line with God’s will.

What Are the Most Powerful Affirmations?

The most powerful affirmations you can declare over your life are Biblical affirmations rooted in the word of God. These type of affirmations have power, because the God of the Universe is 100% behind them and He will empower you to achieve them.

Anytime you declare and speak the word of God over your life you can expect to receive power. Which means God will empower you to achieve the thing you are speaking over your life.  However, the key to receive this power is based upon your belief.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

So when you are speaking a Biblical affirmation into existence over your life, you must believe that God is going to reward you with that thing.
